The Lash Lounge was started in 2006 by Anna Phillips. Anna very quickly became an icon and inspiration for tons of women in the lash industry, notably with her innovation and desire to make women “feel as beautiful as they truly are.” She made it our goal to make each guest take a look the mirror and think, “Wow! I love what I see. I love me!” We strive to give each of our guests a premium salon experience, where they can escape from the stressors of their everyday life, sink into a spa bed, and know they’ll leave our salon ready to face the world with confidence. We have a passion for not only lashes, but for your experience with our salon. From your initial phone call to checking out after your appointment, we want you to feel comfortable and happy.
Why The Lash Lounge?
We have hired and trained the best of the best! Each of our lash stylist has gone through a rigorous training process that not only taught them the craft of lash extensions, but also the expertise and care that is put into each set of lashes. Our lash stylists have a passion for both their work and our company, and we couldn’t be happier to have them!
Rachel Sanchez started at our salon in late 2019 and has quickly proven herself. She is not only an amazing lash stylist but also one of our two lash stylist trainers! She is a positive influence to the atmosphere and culture of our salon, and an amazing representation of what our company stands for. Rachel told us, “I love the Lash Lounge because of the level of care and attention that is given to our guests. I enjoy making my guests feel cared for and I love enhancing their natural beauty.” Rachel has been described by guests as a beautiful soul for her comforting and bright personality. Building an experience and a relationship with our guests is so important to us. Rachel said her favorite part about her guests is, “I love the challenge of creating a custom look for every individual guest, and being able to enhance each person’s natural beauty!” Rachel is great at providing not only excellent service but also excellent conversation and an incredible experience.
Kristina Greene is our store manager, a lash stylist and a stylist trainer. Kristina has been with us since our salon location opened in August of 2019. Kristina came to our salon with some lash extension experience but she still had some learning to do when she got here. The Lash Lounge was the first place that Kristina learned to make handmake volume fans. While the process was rough at first, she quickly caught on and is now one of our fastest stylists! Kristina told us that she loves The Lash Lounge because, “I love that we have the opportunity to do something that serves other people and helps make them feel good about themselves.” Kristina is a perfect embodiment of The Lash Lounge’s mission statement. She’s said, “I love being a stylist because it gives me an opportunity to be creative and do something that I can continue to grow and improve in every day.” Kristina’s passion for her work has given her some seriously loyal clients that describe her as “extremely knowledgeable” and “the best!” We are so glad to have such a passionate and amazing woman working for us!
Christina Holley is the other of our two “Christinas” and has also been with us since we opened. Christina has perfectly mastered the craft of a relaxing experience. She is so gentle that her guests fall asleep for a #LashNap on a regular basis. Christina is also known around the salon for her perfectionism and craftiness. She is so sweet and regularly makes treats for her guests and co-workers. Christina told us, “I love the women I work with because they are all so caring and genuine. Everyone is supportive, understanding and all-around good people. I can laugh with them and have a good time at work.” She is such an incredible presence to have in the salon and we are so grateful to have her on our team!
Monet Sanchez started at The Lash Lounge in September of 2019. While Monet is one of our lash stylists, she also occasionally acts as a “therapist” to her clients, always lending a supportive ear. She is very personable, and strives towards perfection in her work. And so, it’s no surprise that her favorite thing about The Lash Lounge is, “My clients!! I love these ladies; without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’ve grown to know so many of these beautiful and kind women. I like forming connections with regular clients and enjoy having great conversations with others who are just coming to me because their regular stylist was full. I appreciate all of you, and thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!” The love is certainly mutual between Monet and her regular guests, some of who say, “She does a great job and always makes the best conversation” and “She is very professional and has a great personality. She is super sweet and does her best to ensure that you have the best experience with her while getting your lashes done!” Monet explained one of her motivations that drives her to do her best work, “It’s amazing to see how happy some of our clients are when they see themselves after receiving any of our services. It’s part of why I entered the beauty industry. Just few hours of my time can help give someone the confidence that has a butterfly effect on their lives.” She is not only doing lashes, but providing a lasting experience that enriches her guests lives outside of The Lash Lounge.
Jacque Jiron is the newest of our lash stylist and just started in January of this year! And while Jacque is still learning her craft, she is gaining experience fast! While she doesn’t have guests, she is practicing and perfecting her abilities. Jacque said, “My favorite thing about The Lash Lounge is everyone is so nice and helpful. I feel like I can build a friendship at work and still hang out with them after work!” While she hasn’t had the opportunity to see very many guests yet the ones, she has seen are raving about her. Saying things like, “Jacque was amazing. . . She made me feel so beautiful,” and that is exactly what Jacque said she loves most about working at The Lash Lounge, having the ability to boost women’s self–esteem. Jacque is so passionate and caring; we know that she is going to be a long-lasting and amazing addition to our team!
While we’re so grateful to have such passionate and loyal lash stylists, it takes a village. While for many, the highlight of the experience is the during their time with the stylists, for everyone, their experience begins at the front desk. Most often, the first face our guests see in the salon, and hear over the phone is Jenni Griego, our Member Services Lead. Jenni has been at The Lash Lounge since we opened in 2019 and is an expert in booking and memberships. She has said that her favorite part of working at the desk is, “I love how thoughtful so many of our guest can be. I always try and remember our guest’s names and details about them and I really love and appreciate when our guests do the same for me. We are really able to build relationships here!” However to Jenni, The Lash Lounge is more than just the front desk, “I love The Lash Lounge because we’re like a little family. I feel so at home here. I love the guests and the ladies I work with. I love being a part of making women feel beautiful!”
There are many aspects to every business and for our staff it wouldn’t be possible without our boss Brooke Baldwin. Brooke is the franchise owner for our Albuquerque salon. Brooke started her journey to open our The Lash Lounge before most of us had even heard about it. And thankfully she did! The Lash Lounge has changed so many women’s lives; from the staff having a wonderful and safe space to work, to our guest that have an amazing place to get their lashes done, relax, and even socialize. Brooke told us, “I love that The Lash Lounge has brought so many talented and caring women into my life. Owning The Lash Lounge has challenged me in so many ways and allowed me to grow as an individual and as a business woman. I also love that our guests feel comfortable enough to share their stories with us and that they have created friendships with The Lash Lounge team.”
The Lash Lounge is looking to make each woman feel absolutely beautiful in their own skin. We love making others feel beautiful; whether it be with a fresh set of lashes or with something as simple as a lash and/or brow tint. If it makes you feel beautiful then do it! But often times, the staff and stylists are so focused upon making others feel beautiful, they can forget that they deserve to reflect upon themselves as well. Taking this time for our amazing women, they were asked,

Rachel S. said, “I love my drive to accomplish the goals set before me and my empathy towards others.”
Kristina G. said, “I don’t give up easily and I learn from my mistakes.”
Jacque J. said, “I love and appreciate my body for creating my daughter. She a healthy happy baby.”
Jenni G. said, “I love that I always try and drive myself to do better and be better. I want to grow as much as possible, both in my career and my personal life. My dad has always told me that no one can outwork me. If I want something, I go get it. I’m so grateful for that quality because I know that someday it’ll take me somewhere big!”
Brooke B. said, “I’m a pretty good judge of character and I’ve learned to always trust my gut.”
Almost every single staff member said that they love something about their character or their abilities to do great things. This serves as a valuable reminder that beauty is always more than skin deep, and that who we are inside is what makes us truly beautiful.
