Stylist Spotlight! – Kristina Greene of The Lash Lounge Albuquerque NE
Kristina Greene grew up as a Packers fan in Wisconsin. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with minors in communications and music from the University of Wisconsin. In 2015, Kristina continued her education at Olympian Academy of Cosmetology in Albuquerque to become an esthetician. This week we are celebrating Kristina for all her hard work and achievements here at The Lash Lounge Albuquerque NE.
Kristina joined The Lash Lounge Albuquerque team when we opened in August 2019 as a stylist and manager. Kristina said that she chose to work at The Lash Lounge because,
“I already loved doing classic lashes and I wanted to further my skills and expand my clientele within a company that I could grow both professionally and personally. Lucky for me I found all of those things and more at The Lash Lounge Albuquerque!”
In Fall of 2019, Kristina became a certified lash stylist at The Lash Lounge Albuquerque.
“Becoming a certified lash stylist takes a lot of hard work, determination and dedication. It is one of the most challenging skills I have ever learned, but it is also the most rewarding! I love seeing the results of a beautiful full lash set!”
Kristina came to The Lash Lounge Albuquerque with some lash experience but was able to grow and learn the craft of handmade volume and hybrid lash making. In December 2019, Kristina became New Mexico’s first local trainer for The Lash Lounge. With Kristina’s previous experience and experience lashing at The Lash Lounge she now has 5 years of lashing experience under her belt.

Being in the service industry can be hard at times but being in the lash extension and beauty industry can be very rewarding. Kristina said her favorite part of being a lash stylist is,
“getting to know my clients on a personal level. I like to see them leave happy and return every two weeks for their fills. I am honored every time they come in that they chose us to spend their time and share their lives with.”

Kristina currently works 3 days a week as a lash stylist and works full time as a manager and assists the Front desk when needed. But when Kristina isn’t at work you can catch her spending her free time enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery that New Mexico has to offer. She can often be found in the Sandia Mountains hiking, biking or watching the sunset. Kristina’s favorite color is green because it reminds her or nature. In the fall when things start to cool down, Kristina likes to watch football on Sundays and enjoy a beer and snacks with family and friends.
Kristina goes home to her adorable two-year-old white calico kitty names Citra. Kristina adopted Citra in 2019 and is hopeful to get another cat soon. Kristina has been a cat lover her whole life and has had a few cats throughout the years. Kristina has said that her favorite animal has to be “any kind of cat!”
Kristina has described herself to be fun, caring, dependable. And we honestly couldn’t agree more! She brings an upbeat and positive attitude to work every day. She is always here when asked to be, even on her days off sometimes. We are so grateful to have her as a part of our team and couldn’t think of a better person to highlight for the start of our stylist spotlights.
Kristina’s favorite quote is “I would rather regret what I have done than regret what I have not done.” – Lucille Ball. That pretty much describes how Kristina lives her life.
