First off, we miss you! Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic is going to keep us apart through the end of April. Since we are not able to welcome you in for your regularly scheduled lash naps, we know your lashes arenโt going to be as full and lush as you’d prefer.
We get itโdefinitely not the best-case scenario here, but while weโre in this lash limbo, weโve got some best practices for you to protect and preserve your extensions while theyโre in tip-top shape, then make the tough decision to safely remove them at home when itโs that dreaded time.
PROTECTING YOUR EXTENSIONS
If you recently had a lash fill, your lashes might still be pretty full; now is the time to do whatever you can to protect them. Youโll want to avoid things such as oil/alcohol/glycerin-based products, waterproof mascara/eyeliner and heavy eye makeup.
AT-HOME REMOVAL
If the time comes where your lashes are just too sparse for your liking, we want you to be able to safely remove your extensions without damaging your natural lashes. We recommend using a natural oil (think coconut or jojoba) to gently remove your lash extensions and protect the health of your natural lashes. For more information, please check out our blog post on the topic.
Taking care of your lashes now will ensure the best results when we are able to welcome you back in for new extensions. Be sure to continue to keep your natural lashes clean.
We hope you and your loved ones are doing well, staying healthy, and keeping as positive as possible.
