We hope you’re doing well and are using this time to reflect on all the things that matter most. We sure are—namely, being reunited with YOU!
In our continued effort to meet each day with positivity, we see Governor Cooper’s newest announcement as progress for North Carolina. Phase One of his three-phase plan takes effect on Friday, May 8th. As he mentioned, we are NOT part of phase one but hope that the data and metrics continue to show improvement so that we may be part of Phase Two.
We want to thank you for your continued patience during these challenging times and hope you and your family are safe and healthy. Without an official reopen date, we are still unable to schedule new appointments or reschedule existing/missed appointments. We can’t wait to get back to lashing and will reach out to reschedule as soon as we know our new reopen date!
We are working hard to raise the bar on our industry-leading health and safety standards so that, when we return, everyone is safe. Here’s how we’re doubling down on cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation efforts in the salon, including what we ask of you:
NEW STAFF TEMPERATURE CHECKS: In addition to being asked to stay home should anyone feel sick, we will now require our staff to have their temperature taken before every shift.
NEW PPE: Our professional stylists will now wear face masks, protective eyewear, and Nitrile medical gloves while performing all services.
NEW “TOUCHLESS” GREETINGS + FAREWELLS: Same smiles, but no handshakes or hugs. Just for now.
NEW “CASHLESS” SALON: To reduce the number of objects exchanging hands, please prepare to pay for your service, products, and gratuities with a credit or debit card.
INDUSTRY-LEADING CLEANLINESS + HYGIENE STANDARDS: We’re continuing to abide by the high bar we’ve always set:
Cleaning and disinfecting of service areas and instruments between every guest
Frequent sanitization of common areas, including restrooms
Highest standards of neatness, cleanliness and personal hygiene for Lash Lounge staff
TEMPORARY DISCONTINUATION OF BLANKET SERVICE: To minimize contact with surfaces, we will not be offering blankets during services. Feel free to bring your own blanket to make your lash nap more enjoyable for you.
A FEW THINGS FOR YOU:
- If you are sick, or even feeling sick, please stay home. We’ll be waiving all cancellation fees related to illness for the foreseeable future.
- To ensure proper social distancing, please come to your appointment alone. No visitors or children will be permitted.
- Please thoroughly wash your hands when arriving at your appointment.
- Please refrain from touching your eyes, nose, mouth, and face. If you do, please wash your hands.
- We ask that you bring a mask to wear during your service for the safety of our stylists and employees.
Even after we are able to reopen our doors, we want to assure you we will continue to closely monitor and adhere to the recommendations of public health officials, including the Centers for Disease Control, which may result in additional salon changes as they benefit our entire Lash Lounge family.
