We hope you’re doing well and are using this time to reflect on all the things that matter most. We sure are—namely, being reunited with YOU!
While personal care services are able to resume business on May 11th, we are taking this opportunity to welcome our team back to the salon for enhanced training to prepare for your return.
We will re-open to members first on Tues., May 19 and then for all guest services soon thereafter.
Our focus is on keeping you, and our salon family, safe with the following guidelines:
– Services will be by appointment only. No walk-ins will be accepted.
– In order to follow recommended social distancing guidelines, we will be:
- Expanding our hours of operation.
- Increasing time between appointments for enhanced cleaning.
- Staggering appointments to avoid multiple arrivals/departures at once.
- Lessening the number of lash stylists onsite at one time to limit the total number of individuals in the salon.
Additionally, we’re doubling down on cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation efforts in the salon. Here’s what we ask of you:
NEW STAFF + GUEST TEMPERATURE CHECKS: Staff and guests are asked to stay home should anyone feel sick. Additionally, we will now require our staff to have their temperature taken before every shift, and the same for guests before each appointment.
GUEST HANDWASHING: Our stylists already wash their hands between every appointment. Upon arrival, we will also ask each guest to do so, as well, at our salon sink prior to beginning services.
NEW PPE: Our professional stylists will now wear face masks and you may ask for the use of nitrile medical gloves while performing all services. Masks are now a requirement for guests for the safety of our stylists and team. Please wear your mask to your appointment.
NEW UNIFORMS: All stylists will soon wear a Lash Lounge uniform to maintain strict dress code standards ensuring stronger sanitation measures.
NEW “TOUCHLESS” GREETINGS +FAREWELLS: Same smiles, but no handshakes or hugs. Just for now.
NEW “TOUCHLESS” PAYMENTS: To reduce the number of objects exchanging hands, please prepare to pay for your service and products with a credit or debit card. You will also have the option of completing a Credit Card Authorization Form which will allow you to approve transactions without a signature. Gratuities can be added to a card, or you can place cash in an envelope for your stylist.
INDUSTRY-LEADING CLEANLINESS + HYGIENE STANDARDS: We’re continuing to abide by the high bar we’ve always set:
- Cleaning and disinfecting of service areas and instruments for every guest
- Frequent sanitization of salon, restrooms and employee breakroom
- Highest standards of neatness, cleanliness and personal hygiene for The Lash Lounge staff
- Enhanced Barbicide training and up-to-date certification
TEMPORARY DISCONTINUATION OF BLANKETS & BEVERAGES: To minimize contact with surfaces, we will not be offering beverages upon arrival or blankets during services, for now. Thank you for your understanding.
APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL PLANNING DETAILS:
- If you or someone in your household is sick or feels sick, please stay home. We’ll be waiving all cancellation fees related to illness until further notice.
- To ensure proper social distancing, please come to your appointment alone. No visitors or children will be permitted.
- Masks are now a requirement for guests for the safety of our stylists and team. Please wear your mask to your appointment.
- Upon arrival, please wait in your car until a team member notifies you that your lash stylist is ready for you. You’ll get a text or call to let you know we are ready. (Don’t worry, a reminder of complete arrival instructions will be provided with your next appointment confirmation.)
- Please thoroughly wash your hands when arriving at your appointment. Our team will escort you to the hand washing station.
- Please refrain from touching your eyes, nose, mouth and face. If you do, please wash your hands.
Even after we are able to re-open our doors, we want to assure you we will continue to closely monitor and adhere to the recommendations of public health officials, including the Centers for Disease Control, which may result in additional salon changes as they benefit our entire Lash Lounge family.
