  • This is because a lash extension must be able to attach to a natural lash. If you don’t have any natural lashes, getting lash extensions is not possible. (Click here to find out if you are a lash extension candidate!)
• At The Lash Lounge, our lash extensions are 100% safe and top-notch in quality as they’re made of a premium synthetic material.
• When applied professionally and properly (like we do) lash extensions are safe and should not damage your natural lashes.
• Part of keeping your natural lashes protected when you have lash extensions has to do with keeping them clean and following a simple aftercare routine.
• Unlike other salons or some independent lash techs, our stylists undergo extensive training before they can apply lash extensions.
• At The Lash Lounge, we have options when it comes to our lash extensions including application styles, lengths and thicknesses. We are never a “one-size-fits-all” lash salon!

How To Get Natural Lash Extensions

Believe it or not, there are a few ways to get natural looking eyelash extensions. ⤵️ Here are our tips!

Tip 1: Select The Right Lash Professional

When selecting a lash professional or salon, make sure it’s one who does CUSTOM eyelash extensions so you CAN achieve a natural look.

Another tip when selecting a lash tech or salon: You want to ensure that they offer a consultation prior to your first service. For example, our consultation process involves our guests filling out info for their stylist to review along with an assessment of their natural lash line, eye shape and more. All of this is done so the stylist can keep the safety of the guest’s natural lash line a priority so they can provide the best application possible based on what the guest is looking for.

Tip 2: Choose a Lash Design That Leans To a Natural Look

If you’re familiar with our blog posts, you know we almost always preach that you should go with the lash look YOU want, and we stand behind that! However, if you’re truly one who wants a natural lash extension look, we’ll glady give you our expert opinion on what to consider so you can get that natural vibe.

Applications: We suggest selecting our classic or hybrid applications for a natural lash appearance. More on these applications plus photo examples here.

Levels: Along with our application options, we offer levels at The Lash Lounge. In fact, we have three: Level 1 (full), level 2 (fuller) and level 3 (fullest). As you can see by the photo below, level 1 looks the most natural of them all.

Curls: The design options continue and yes, you can also choose your curl! We have two options at The Lash Lounge: a C curl and a D curl. To achieve a natural eyelash appearance, you will want to go with a C curl as it’s our softest curl that most mimics natural lashes. A D curl is best for those who want a more dynamic eyelash style.

Tip 3: Weigh Lash Service Options

If you’ve never had any kind of lash enhancement (we’re talking a lash lift, tint or extensions) and you’re still on the fence about getting even the most subtle lash extensions, we suggest that you weigh the options of other lash services like a lash lift and a lash tint. Both enhance your natural lash line and will allow you to get a taste of the benefits of a lash enhancement without getting extensions.

Here’s what these services do: A lash lift will give your eyelashes a natural looking curl and a lash tint will provide your lash line with a rich color like you often get when you apply mascara, but a look that’s even more natural! 🙌
